We know you know who LTJ Bukem is. Ground breaking DJ. Inspirational musician. Record label entrepreneur. Club visionary. This is the man who took the drum and bass concept from a small venue in London to superclubs then onward to the world stage.
Some say his records launched breakbeat into a brand new galaxy of sound. He is a Renaissance man for a digital age. Although he wouldn’t like to admit it, LTJ Bukem is the living embodiment of the post-acid house entrepreneurial creative spirit. He is a mild mannered energy flash whose panoramic musical vision has found success in every area he has explored. From running sound systems to cutting up sounds at Breakfest – the man known to his friends as Danny has sat at the forefront of breakbeat evolution, lighting the way with little more than a zest for life and a love of the music.

PLUMP DJs
The phat danceability of their tracks is a testament to this Plump duo – and it’s one of the reasons Perth has a lot of chubby love for them. The Plumps have been hard at it performing and producing together since the late 1990’s. They began as avid pioneers of diverse electronic music, smashing into the early breaks scene and delivering absolutely iconic albums A Plump Night Out, Eargasm and Saturday Night Lotion. Albums so huge in their own right they could’ve stopped right there, but they didn’t — so we won’t.
