From small beginnings in 2000 in Sydney, Parklife has evolved into a national institution renowned for delivering cutting edge line ups of incredible talent from around the globe. In 2007 the Parklife National Tour proved to be the standout success of the year, showcasing what many regarded as one of the most diverse, eclectic and ground breaking line ups ever assembled, to a combined crowd of over 100,000 people across the country.
Parklife is now as much an Australian icon as the vegemite on your toast and the Eucalyptus trees under which it was first staged, and once again 2008 will be bringing an unrivalled array of fresh and experienced international and live acts and DJs.
It’s that time of year again when the country gets together and votes for their favourite events, club nights and most importantly, DJs. For the last two years Boomtick have won Best Event for their boutique Boxing Day event, Breakfest. Breakfest is the event that thousands of people flock to each year, people come home for it, and artists around the globe love to play at it. Nothing but class beats for the more discerning electronic music lover.
Last year also saw Boomtick take out the Best Club Night for Ambar Niteclub’s weekly Saturday night; Japan 4. This year has seen Boomtick add more value to their Japan 4 nights by bringing over an array or quality Eastern State DJs to feature as guests, delivering top notch entertainment to loyal Ambar fans.

Boomtick regrets to announce that tickets for MSTRKRFT have sold out!
Not since Parklife 2007 has Perth had the opportunity to see one of the biggest names behind the electro clash rock merger on our shores – MSTRKRFT are here and are ready to up the ante with their mask wearing, gyrate inducing, whisky-loving Canadian ways, their genre bashing sounds have earned them a cult like following worthy of their electronic experimentation.
We barely had time to discover what whiskey these mask wearing Canadian’s drank before Perth snapped up all the tickets! If you missed out then be sure to get your tickets early next time.
