The Likes Of You is taking it to the streets and throwing down this video challenge to you!
The Likes Of You Video Competition sponsored by Drum Media and Camera Electronic
We here at The Likes Of You like great parties and love techno! The next round of the Perth The Likes of You will take place at Villa on Saturday 10 July and will feature Stephan Bodzin (Ger) and Hugo (Italy). We need your help to spread techno love to the masses and let people know how amazing this show will be.
We want you to shoot a video advert (no longer than 30 seconds) to promote the upcoming gig on 10 July. There aren’t many rules and you can be as creative or funny or artistic as you like. The only requirement is that the video should contain all of the following key messages:
1. ‘The Likes of You’
2. Techno (audio or visual or both!)
3. Villa
4. Saturday 10 July
You don’t need to be a professional, have fancy video equipment or editing tools to submit a video – mobile phone videos are good enough too. The video doesn’t even need to contain people: it can be animation, puppetry, whatever you like! Simply prove that you’re passionate about The Likes of You, Techno or just plain winning the prize.
The entries will be judged on originality, humour and the impact of key messages.
*The deserving winner will win an overnight stay in a luxury Perth hotel for 2 people
A limo ride with champagne for 4 people to the gig with direct VIP access
$100 on the bar
as well a a fantastic digital camera from Camera Electronic
and $200 cash*
We will post the videos up on Youtube and our Facebook page as they come in – give us something to laugh at, dance to and like you!
