PDMAs : Clean Sweep for Boomtick

The PDMAs have come and gone and, true to tradition, it was one hell of a night.

We're still a bit shell-shocked in Boomtick HQ - in a good way!

We had some tough (and well-deserved) competition this year and despite our success in previous years, weren't expecting anything other than a good night out with our industry pals.
To take the clean sweep of all our categories is extremely wonderful and humbling - it means a great deal to all of us and we're so thankful for your support.

Boomtick took out top spot in each of our nominated categories:

•    Best Club: Ambar
•    Best Club Night: Japan 4 at Ambar   
•    Best Event: Breakfest   
•    Best Flyer: Breakfest 2010 (Designed by Jarrod Fuller)
•    Best Photo: Rico Tubbs and Atomic Hooligan at Breakfest (photo by James Gifford)

That makes it nine years in a row as Best Club and for Best Event, and five years running for Japan 4 as Best Club Night!

A number of Boomtick DJs were also recognised in their respective categories:

•    Best Breaks DJ: Micah
•    Best Female DJ: Mono Lisa
•    Best Hip Hop DJ: Angry Buda

Our Boomtick team (fondly referred to as 'The Family') loves what we do. We work really hard to make sure y'all have fun at our clubs and our events - and will continue to work our butts off!

Most importantly: THANK YOU! From all of us (especially Mr Boomtick).

Hats off to the PDMA crew - every year they continue to raise the bar and this year was no exception. It's refreshing to see an awards process with so much integrity and their record crowd (700!) is a reflection of that.
