Boomtick is renowned for, and prides itself in, responsible event promotion and venue management. We like our patrons to enter our venues with the intent of enjoying themselves and knowing they are safe is a big part of this.
Anti-social, unlawful behaviour isn’t cool and we won’t tolerate it at either of our venues. In an effort to curb and ultimately eliminate even the possibility of anti-social and unlawful behaviour, we installed an ID scanner at Ambar Nightclub in August last year.
Villa has now also introduced ID scanners.
This security measure is both for our patrons’ protection and the peace-of-mind of neighbouring residents as it allows us to identify those involved in any form of anti-social and unlawful behaviour.
What does this mean for you?
• You will now have to submit photo ID for scanning upon entry into ALL EVENTS at Villa Nightclub. Current acceptable forms of ID are detailed on the Racing, Gaming and Liquor website (a current Australian driver's licence with a photograph, a current passport with a photograph; or a Western Australian Proof of Age Card).
• We are simply taking a picture of your ID so we may later identify you ONLY if the need arises.
• We respect your privacy. Scanned data will not be kept or used for any reason other than assisting in identifying those who may be responsible for, or involved in, antisocial behaviour.
• Scanned data will be stored for a maximum of 28 days and then permanently deleted.
• This will not slow down entry into the venue - we have installed three ID scanners to ensure efficient entry.
We’d like to thank you in advance for your understanding.
