Boomtick Podcast Episode 4 feat. Slynk and Slyde!

Hello 2011!

We're SLYNK(ing) and SLYDE(ing) all over the place in this latest instalment of the Boomtick podcast.

First up is an hour of funk thanks to Brisbane's funk-wonderkid, Slynk. Slynk's reputation stems from his inventory of unreleased and unsigned party-style ghetto-funk bootlegs, remixes and edits - perfectly encapsulated in this 60 minute mix.

Episode four finishes up with dynamic UK producers, Slyde. Their latest album in 2008 presented us with a wealth of influences from hip hop to rave, big beat and electrifying breakbeat and you can taste all that in this mix. Delicious.

Both Slynk and Slyde are set to be Boomtick guests over the coming weeks. Slynk will be a guest of the Japan 4 juggernaut on Saturday 26 March at Ambar, and Slyde is teaming up with Foamo on Saturday 16 March at Villa.
