Funk, hip-hop, breaks and beats were in his blood when Tee EL to hit the decks in 2008. Finding his feet faster than a Ferrari, he settled into his own turntable-style and when he got his first chance to play at 'The Beat Suite', Perth took notice.
After proving he had what it took, Tee EL was selected to play at the first ‘Fresh Produce’ at Ambar Nightclub and was soon welcomed into the Boomtick family.
Just outside his first 12 months Djing, Tee EL scored enough votes to get him in the Top 3 under the 'Best New Talent' category at the Perth Dance Music Awards (PDMAs). He also earned his stripes playing at Major Break, Bootleg nights and Boomtick’s award-winning annual festival Breakfest.
It would take a lesser DJ years, decades, to get that far.
Tee EL can be seen most weekends playing at Perth's #1 regular weeknight, Japan 4 at Ambar on a Saturday.
He's also supported big names such as Splitloop, Stanton Warriors, Dopamine, Lee Coombs and Elite Force to name a few. Tee EL is making a name for himself on the scene and is definitely on his way to a promising DJ career.
