Funk, hip-hop, breaks and beats were in his blood when Tee EL hit the decks in 2008. Finding his feet faster than a Ferrari, he settled into his own turntable-style and when he got his first chance to play at 'The Beat Suite', Perth took notice.
After proving he has what it takes, Tee EL was selected to play at the first ‘Fresh Produce’ at Ambar Nightclub and was soon welcomed into the Boomtick family.
Just outside his first 12 months DJing, Tee EL earned enough votes to get him in the Top 3 under the 'Best New Talent' category at the Perth Dance Music Awards (PDMAs) in 2009. He also earned his stripes playing at Major Break, Bootleg nights and Boomtick’s award-winning annual festival Breakfest.
Known for all the different styles, tempos and genre hopping in his sets, he was selected to play at the first Red Bull Thre3Style Competition (3x genres in a 15 min set) at Villa Nightclub.
Tee EL can be seen most weekends bringing the party to the dance floor at Perth's #1 regular weeknight, Japan 4 at Ambar on a Saturday.
