In 1999 rocking parties and ramming dance floors, Blend aka Mikee K first burst onto the scene as a part of the ROLLER Crew with a fist full of wax. Since then he has been immersed and devoted to the Perth dance music scene including Djing and co-hosting events such as the Perth Dance Music Awards (PDMA), Roller Idol, the Rock Paper Scissors State Finals (RPS) and now a proud member of the Boomtick family.
Musically cutting his teeth in the jump up Drum & Bass sound and being strongly influenced by whoomping Hip Hop and heaving Break Beat. Blend brings an energetic, unique and positive prospective to the party, weather its disintegrating dance floors or warming a welcoming room. But don’t be fooled by his boyish charm! His music has been known to make pints of beer rattle off bars and provoke dance moves that haven’t been invented yet...
