Bezwun

Having had his first appearance at Ambar late 2010, Bezwun has never looked back.

Locking himself away while honing his craft, Bezwun arrived in the Perth scene by doin' the hard yards.
Playing house parties in the early years, evolved to running a small night at a local pub called Break The Seal with good friend DNGRFLD. Together they brought some of Boomtick’s finest to the suburbs including Marty McFly, Philly Blunt, Ben Mac and even Slynk from Brisbane!

On the production front, Beatsmack was formed with friend Ryan Sloan. Funnelling all things heavy, the sounds gained interest from Miles Dyson and were released late 2010 as a start to the rapid growth of releases from this powerhouse duo. This was complimented by Bezwun's solo productions, pushing the ghettofunk sound with solid breakbeats, soul and groove fused with wobbly electronic basslines. Bezwun's hunger for diversity has also led him to form the FTW with Perth’s own JS (Pearly Whites).

Bezwun's skills behind the decks, to his skills in front of the screen has earned him support slots for the likes of Miles Dyson, Plump DJs, Krafty Kuts, Skool Of Thought, Specimen A, Pyramid, Mord Fustang, Porter Robinson and Tim Healy just to name a few. With global recognition for both the Bezwun and Beatsmack brands, loads of free tracks and bootlegs, and an overall love for all things music, Bez is one to help put Perth on the map.
