 New Years Eve at the Home of the Underground is always a no- holds- barred, unbolted, unadulterated, crazy house party. Forget the fireworks, the hassle and the car, Ambar has delivered time after time all year ‘round, so where better to see out the year than at your number one night spot- Ambar? And to top it all off, along with some of Perth’s hottest DJs, we have the tech funk mater Elite Force doing a very special New Years surprise set!
Elite Force is often credited for being a lynchpin in the developing the tech-funk genre (an amalgamation of breaks, house, techno and electro) and he has released a series of highly successful singles in the past few years, finding broad support from DJs and musicians across the board, including the likes of James Zabiela, Sasha, Crystal Method, Laurent Garnier and Fatboy Slim to name but five.
The Roller crew have been resurrected ‘one more time!’ with Dart and Devo starting the night off. The charismatic Force Majeure duo Mono Lisa and Philly will help us bring in the New Year, the Destination? head honchos Signal Drivers will be battling it out against Japan 4 regular Wish before the rest of the Japan 4 crew come in, guns blazing, records turnin’. The best way to round out a night is with Fresh Produce, so our newest additions to the Ambar family will be dancing in the sunrise along with you.
