Old school. Great tunes. Breakbeat. Vinyl.
You wanted it, we’re bringing it!
Calling all old-skool breakbeat crew! After the basstastic return in June of our most premium breakbeat brand, Break-A-Holics Anonymous (BAA), it was clear it had to happen again. So it’s going to.
The only thing to make it better? All vinyl, all night. All right. We’re setting the tempo to 33 1/3 – put the needle on the record and the drum beat goes like this! Break-A-Holics Anonymous is a night devoted to old school breakbeat sounds; back when the bass was fun, the beats were plump and the breaks were king! Coupled with the warmth of real needles-on-the-record and turntable skills, this, friends is going to be something quite special.
BAA signifies the back-in-the-day memories we love to hold on to, and in keeping with that, we’d like to encourage the following attire:
• Chicks in cool kicks: Puma, Adidas, Air Max – you know what we mean. Same goes for guys, too!
• Anything Ambar circa 2002-2006. Sure, you still need to look fresh ‘n clean, but leave the heels and hours-in-front-of-a-mirror preparation behind.
Warning: you’re going to be on the dancefloor all night – come prepared!
Oh yeah, you’re going to go all the way with BAA!
