Ambar
Doors open 10pm
These sounds are set to fall into your mind at Perth’s #1 regular night, Japan 4.
When this Melbournite took to the decks at the Home of the Underground in March, Ambar witnessed first-hand the power of VENGEANCE. So much so we shuffled a packed calendar to make room for a return.
His freshest remix is of our very own Philly Blunt’s ‘Let Me See Those Hands’ feat MC Shureshock (out on Klub Kids). Prior to that monster, his remix of The Crookers’ ‘Soca Ali Baba’ was selected as worthy of release on German label Man Recordings. Since then? Here’s the list: Blur’s ‘Song 2’, The Bloodhound Gang’s ‘The Bad Touch’ and Gnarls Barkley’s ‘Crazy’. On an original score, he gets rotation from Far Too Loud, Porter Robinson and Kill The Noise.
Expect an explosive delivery of infectious beats, electro bangers and ridiculous synth-pop. And that’s ridiculous in a good way. VENGEANCE prides himself on his uncanny ability to make even the most socially reclusive punter shake their booty like their life depends on it, or just jump around like a maniac.
The crew on the one's and two's has been hand-picked to ensure you get the best of what Japan 4 is all about: the right tunes + the right 'tude = the perfect night.
Vengeance: the sequel.
