Lately the Home of the Underground has been unbelievably heaving and it’s about to get an even bigger shake-up when Force Majeure takes over Ambar on 3 September 2010. Forever passionate about the harder sounds of breaks and 4/4, the Force Majeure crew are pleased to announce an exciting line-up for their next party.

Recognised for his banging tech, electro and broken beats production, Marten Hørger (GER) returns to Perth after a smashing performance at last year’s Major Break. Having previously been a member of the massive breakbeat duo ‘Boogie Army’, Hørger is now working with the illustrious Leeroy Thornhill (formerly of the Prodigy) in the electro/tech partnership known as Smash Hifi. Hørger has performed to punters all over the world and his party pleasing style of DJing, along with as his
focused production, never ceases to garner international support and kudos. The Force Majeure crew implores you to come and check out this talented artist on his second Australian tour. Sangers & Ra (Brisbane) are a premier breakbeat DJ/production duo out of Brisbane who officially came together in late 2009. The cornerstone of the recent east coast breakbeat revival in Australia, the pair are residents of Queensland’s #1

Broken Beat night, Breaks & Enter. The guys have been hard at work producing dance floor bangers in the studio as well as
developing their "Dex n Fx ^2" DJ setup for the clubs. Their debut original EP release, "Nasty" featuring MC SirReal of Freestylers fame, is due out on 23rd August 2010 on Westway Records, UK. These boys cant wait to step up to the Ambar
decks and show WA what they’re made of.

Backing up these touring artists are more talented local legends. Ian G (formerly of Perth breakbeat duo ‘Tha Beetslappaz’) returns to Force Majeure to play an opening ‘disco’ set and Mr Ed (one half of the up & coming ‘Beat Off’
crew) will fire up the dance floor with a sturdy mix of breaks and 4/4. As always, the team behind Force Majeure, Philly
Blunt and Mono Lisa, will give the Ambar Massive a lesson in largeness!
