Destination? have always kept an ethos of bringing fresh talent and music to the Perth scene, and that ideal is always maintained when selecting DJs to artists that play at a Destination? night. Now it’s time for the newcomers to step up and show off their talents against the veterans of Destination? parties..

Yes, Destination? are throwing a “Newcomers vs. Residents” party, pitching the latest and greatest of the Perth scene against those who have solidified themselves through countless sets and long nights in dark clubs.

All your favourite residents will be taking to the ‘tables, with some of the freshest names who have been making the rounds putting their all into showing the vets how it’s done.

Sooooooooooooooooooooooooooo, step right up!

In the Red Corner, we have Perth breaks and electro-house legends the Signal Drivers heading up the Destination? residents team. Floor-filler Grantley Hyde, as veterans A-Jam, Brockman and Thirteen are weighing in with some heavy tunes and will bring the chaos they’ve induced at various Destionation? nights throughout the years back to Ambar.

In the Blue Corner we have the newcomers; consisting of the funky/filthy/techy Alex Tong,late-night wonder Rikaché, Dubstep/UK funk-er DYP, as well as Mim:loe and Allstate this a formidable lineup if there ever was one, folks.

It goes without saying this battle of the beats will be one hell of a show, especially seeing as it’s a Destination? party. Punters can expect the classic Destination? sounds, keeping in the style of past headliners such as Lee Mortimer, Tom EQ, Danny T, Miles Dyson and Rico Tubbs. Plus, seeing as the residents form some of the first Destination? gigs are taking to the wheels of steel, there’s definitely the chance of some of those older classics getting a whirl on the decks for those who are more nostalgically-inclined.

This will be one hell of a fun show, with back-to-back performances pitting the newcomers against the residents all night long. Doors open 10pm sharp. Be there!
