Force Majeure: an uncontrollable event or greater force… that changes everything.

Ambar is about to get hot and heavy: Force Majeure is back! Never shying away from diverse line-ups, the crew behind Force Majeure has always touted that their night is about the tougher sounds in 4/4 and broken beat. The latest Force Majeure line-up is a testament to this. Paying homage to the best locals DJs this city has to offer, Force Majeure will looks forward to a night which will bring the attitude on 25th June 2010.

Having toured both nationally and overseas, including two 8 week long sell-out tours in Europe and the US, local legend Phetsta will be joining the Force Majeure drum and bass massive. Having released both electro and dnb tracks that have made their way into the record boxes of the likes of Pendulum, Grooverider and Andy C, Phetsta is well known for his successful collaboration with fellow local, Shockone. Force Majeure can’t wait to see what this man’s solo show will deliver.

WA’s Best Breaks DJ for 7 years running and Ambar legend Micah always brings Class A style to any gig he plays, and will no doubt bring deliver it in droves for his debut Force Majeure set. Micah’s consistently energetic, tight and cranking sets which are filled both 4/4 and breaks, have cemented his reputation as one of Perth’s best and loved DJs. Having recently spent loads of time in the studio with Philly Blunt, Force Majeure looks forward to hearing the fruits of their labours.

Joining these two headliners will be some new kids on the block, both playing their debut sets for Force Majeure and Ambar – The Pearly Whites won a spot to play at Creamfields earlier this year and are one of the most talked up & comers of this year; and Sean Morrison, who will kick off proceedings with his fun and outgoing style of jackin US House music.

Last but not least, the duo behind the Force Majeure name and who need no introduction are Philly Blunt and Mono Lisa. The two Ambar residents and co-presenters of Force Majeure Radio on nsbradio.co.uk will bring to the party what they know best: tough beats, heavy breaks and the best party attitude in Perth!
