Doors open at 10pm
Ambar is proud to deliver two amazing up and comers who are going to be the next big thing in burgeoning disco tech scene – Noob and Matt Walsh are new to Ambar, and good times are here again.
Hailing from Bordeaux, France, Noob was originally spotted by French DJ Popof who asked him to remix his hit track ‘Serenity’ for his label FORM's launch. Noob quickly became the man in demand - Brodinski on the Turbo label, TIGA himself for a remix of his single ‘Shoes’ which ended up sitting at the top of the charts for weeks, D.I.M. & TAI on Boysnoize Records and Zero 7 on legendary label Atlantic.
Within a few months Noob earned himself quite a name as producer in great demand since the biggest names in the electro scene have expressed their desire to work with him. The ‘Peanuts Club’ LP (Turbo) in collaboration with Brodinski was released in 2009 and was also a huge success, playlisted by DJs around the world.
Heavily influenced by his father listening to Adam and the Ants, The Human League, New Order and 60’s Psychedelic acts, Matt Walshwas introduced to electronic music via Primal Screams’s Andrew Weatheral produced “Screamadelica” in 1991. Matt has emerged onto the scene over the last three years after he was seen by Tiga at T-Bar in London, where Matt impressed him with his DJ’ing and style. He then produced two great pod¬casts for ‘Sid Loves Turbo’ and has been touring with Turbo Recordings on their “Omnidance” tour of North America. Now a Turbo Resident and resident at T Bar and Durrr in London, Matt can also been seen regularly at Bugged Out!, Wax:On and venues across Europe. Matt is known for his varied music style, ranging from New Wave, Acid House and Disco to Electronic House and Techno.
