What do a genre busting producer from Brooklyn and a character from the early 90’s high school comedy “Saved by the Bell” have in common? Why, their name, of course!
Last year AC Slater spent most of his time putting out waves of club-smashing, electro-tinged bangers, most of which broke through the Beatport top 10. His first major EP "Jack Got Jacked" (released on Palms Out Sounds in September 2008) hit the bestseller position on Juno, and Moby even went so far to say that AC Slater's "Turn the Music Up" remix was ‘a perfect song’, even choosing it as one of his highlights of 2008. XLR8R Magazine and Beatport touted AC Slater as an "Artist to Watch" in 2009 and we couldn’t agree more!
His remixes of Little Boots, Moby and The Freestylers have all but blasted through the stratosphere, and peeps like MSTRKRFT, The Crookers and Stanton Warriors have been buffing out their sets with major tidbits produced by AC Slater.
Don’t miss your chance to see him at his first visit to Ambar!
