Boomtick pres. Ashley Beedle and Tom Middleton
Friday 6 February 2009
Doors open at 10pm
Ashley Beedle has been involved in more projects than we could imagine, his style is as diverse as his hometown’s cultural crucible (London) and his productions have been championed by artists ranging from Danny Tenaglia to Fabio and Grooverider as well as Gilles Peterson to John Digweed. It’s been 8 long years since Ashley Beedle wowed Perth, and here’s your chance to see him at Ambar.
With a musical childhood kick starting a love for dance music, it’s of little wonder why Ashley always seems to stay ahead of the pack. As one third of the critically acclaimed X-Press 2, he’s been a part of some of the biggest anthems in recent decades. ‘Muzik X-Press’ and more recently ‘Lazy’ have helped shape electronic music into what it is today.
Tom Middleton has had a unique career that has spanned from his deep space delights with Mark Pritchard as Global Communication and Jedi Knights to last year’s breathtaking debut album ‘Life Tracks’, a homage to the ambient and soundtrack music. His attention to detail, precision and hours of forethought have earned him the reputation as the creator of ardent, unique and inventive sounds.
Don’t miss these two awe inspiring DJs at Ambar this February!
